“An annoying bucket of ego!” Jeremy Clarkson criticizes the BBC for ‘making’ Greta Thunberg tired | Celebrity News | Show biz & TV
Former Top Gear presenter Jeremy Clarkson, 61, has been outraged by Greta Thunberg’s protests at COP26. The star was not too impressed that the Swedish activist, 18, received a tribune from BBC journalists at the climate summit, saying they were “flattering each other as if they were were soap stars presented to the queen “.
He added in his last column: “They didn’t call the annoying little ego bucket ‘Your Majesty’, but you could see they were thinking about it.”
Jeremy went on to criticize Greta’s “abusive” remarks at a rally in Glasgow.
He wrote: “I just don’t understand the Thunberg phenomenon.
“She has no knowledge of the way the world works, no way and no letter after her name because instead of going to school, she has been busy traveling the world so that she can be mardy and abusive towards adults.

Jeremy’s column comes after Greta described the UN climate change summit as a “two week celebration of the status quo and blah, blah, blah” to “keep business as usual” and ” create loopholes for their benefit “.
She added: “It’s no secret that COP26 is a failure. It should be obvious that we cannot solve a crisis with the same methods that got us there in the first place.”
Greta continued: “We need immediate drastic annual emission reductions, unlike anything the world has ever seen.
“The people in power can continue to live in their bubble filled with their fantasies, like eternal growth on a finite planet and technological solutions that will suddenly appear out of nowhere and erase all these crises like that.
“All of this while the world is literally burning, on fire, and while people living on the front lines still bear the brunt of the climate crisis.”
Jeremy didn’t hesitate to express his dislike for Greta.
The star was promoting Amazon Prime Video’s Grand Tour when he criticized Greta in 2019.
Speaking on the Australian TV show Sunrise, Jeremy said: “She’s crazy and she’s dangerous and she puts young children through sleepless nights with her idiocy.
“No, I think she needs to go back to school and shut up.
