China released new economic data on Friday that is being closely scrutinized for its impact – not only domestically – but also on the global economy.

China’s GDP grew by 2.5% in the first half of 2022, while its economic growth rate in the second quarter stood at 0.4%. CGTN’s Yang Shanshan reports from Beijing.
