Jennifer Aniston reveals she tried IVF to have a baby but it didn’t work

Aniston, 53, said trying to get pregnant was a “difficult road” for her and she underwent IVF to try to conceive but “the ship has sailed”.

She posted several photos from her cover shoot with Seducemagazine on Instagram, with the caption: “End of an era. Thank you Seducefor making me the cover girl for your latest print issue.

Theroux, who was married to Aniston from 2015 to 2017, left a thumbs up and a heart emoji in the comments below the post in a show of support for his ex-wife.

The FriendsThe star was also married to Brad Pitt from 2000 to 2005.

She told the magazine in an interview published Wednesday (November 9): “I was trying to get pregnant. It was a hard road for me, the road of making babies.

“All the years and years of speculation… It was really tough. I was going through IVF, drinking Chinese teas, etc. I threw everything on it.

“I would have given anything if someone had said to me, ‘Freeze your eggs. Do yourself a favor. You just don’t think so. So here I am today. The ship sailed,” she added.

Elsewhere in the interview, Aniston also addressed some of the rumors regarding her divorce from Pitt and denied the account that she “just cared about [her] career” instead of wanting to start a family with him.

“God forbids a woman to be successful and not have a child,” said the morning show said the star.

“And the reason why my husband left me, why we broke up and ended our marriage, was because I didn’t want to give him a child.”

She criticized the account, adding: “It was absolute lies. I have nothing to hide at this point.

Last year, Theroux opened up about his 2018 divorce from Aniston in a candid interview with Squireand said they had “remained friends”.

“Like it or not, we didn’t have this dramatic separation and we love each other,” he said. “I mean it when I say I treasure our friendship. We can’t be together and still bring each other joy and friendship.

“Plus, she makes me laugh very, very hard. He’s a hilarious person. It would be a loss if we weren’t in touch, for me personally. And I would like to think the same for her.
